Default Receiver and Servos

I am relatively new to RC and am currently building a SIG Kadet LT-40 as my first plane. I have a Spektrum DX5e radio and need advice as to what receiver and servos to buy. I mistakenly bought JR Sport RS600 receiver and ST47 servos which I now find out are are not for this particular radio. Can someone please advise what options I have.

Thanks

You are correct that the receiver won't work with your radio, but the servos you purchased will work just fine. No need to replace those. There are many receiver option. http://search.horizonhobby.com/index...d=12EBFB1DBCA6  Any receiver in this list will work with your transmitter, the only only thing you need to watch out for is to make sure you get a full range receiver, as some of these are designed only for park flyer models.  http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products...rodID=SPMAR500  this receiver is a 5 channel receiver and is full range. It will work just fine with your radio and the plane you intend to use it on. It's price is $59.99. If you want to get a receiver with more channels you can select one from the list on the first link I have provided

Hope this helps

Ken

Thank you Ken for such a quick reply.  I had done research prior to posting the question and the AR500 was the one I had picked as well, just wanted some verification that I was on the right track.  I did not know I could use the servos I purchased so thanks for saving me some money.  Happy flying!!!</p>

Use at least a 5 cell nicad/nimh battery or the equivelent lithium battery if you go with the ar500. Less chance of a brown out.
