Default how to attach prop?

The three electric planes I have all came with motors and props. Want to upgrade to a more powerful motor. The motors on the planes all have threads on the end of the shaft or gearbox. The pictures of motors at e.g. hobby lobby show shafts without threads. Must be real simple, but how does one attach the prop to a new motor, received without a threaded shaft? Thanks in advance.

There are adapters to do this job. Some have a split collet which squeezes onto the motor shaft when the prop nut is tightened and cruder ones use a set screw. Take a look at the Hobby Lobby catalog online.
