Also, Cloud kings near oxford, just off of I 10. And Buck RC just west of Quarryville. Buck also has a full service hobby store within walking distance of the flying field. They also have a super nice RC car and truck dirt track. AMA is required to fly at either place. The car and truck track is 5.00 a day to use.

ElectricRC68, there is a group of guys that go to the Lakehurst Naval Air Station in New Jersey..near Toms River. They fly electrics indoors, in the old Blimp Hanger. if you are into that, there's a pretty good place to meet a good bunch of guys that like to fly electric.

really? cool thanks. but im starting to like the bigger electric planes like the select scale line from flyzone. they seem like a lot more fun to fly, so thats why i needed to know of a nearby airfield. but thanks that sounds cool too.

Indoor flying is mainly for the winter, although there are some that fly smaller electrics all seasons.
There is something called RC Pattern, which is precision aerobatics. Lately, the sport has drifted over toward electric power from the larger glow powered aircraft. They have been 2 meter aircraft with 1.40 - 1.60 glow or gasoline power. Now, they are 2 meter aircraft that are electric powered. Quite impressive. They fly at a lot of the fields in our area. By the way, I am from the Skyblazers of Atlantic County, NJ, We fly at a field about 40 or so miles east of you, near Atlantic City. You are welcome to come on out some time and fly with us. Guests need an AMA card. We fly all fixed wing except jets, and any electric powered, plus any helicopters.

okay thanks. idk if i will be able to come down there since my dad doesn't want to drive too far for a flying field, but i wish i could! i will probably first visit the flying field and just watch and see how they do things there. am i allowed to do that or would i still need to sign up with the AMA to even come to the field and just watch for a day?

Tri County Wing Snappers in Berks County 20 minutes west of Allentown, Pa. Were having a funfly on 6/18 great field, but Buck is closer to you. Ck us out and come on out to the funfly http://tcws.org/ Yo need to be an AMA member to fly at any club field for insurance purposes.

live in north CC and currently I fly with the Farview RC Flyers In Hamburg Pa. It is about 45 minutes from 100 and 422. You will not be disappointed, there is a wealth of flying knowledge and they fly everything from Micro lights to Turbine jets. Here is the link to the club sight, http://www.farviewflyers.net/index.html.

Good luck in finding a flying field.
