Default ESC

I'm a newby to electrics. I have a Phoenix 742-ll, the ESC went belly up on second flight. I have no idea which one to buy. The motor is a 390a, the battery is a 9.6v, 1100mah NIMH. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. TIA. Ozarker

Everyone has their own idea but I like the Castle Creation Thunderbird ESCs for 3 cell or less.
