I have a DX-7 that I have been using for some time. Went to the field today and the D/R would not work. I did a rebind but still not working. Any suggestions.

If I go to a different model then the D/R will work. Only does not work on this one plane.[X(]

check page 50 of the manual. you probably deactivated it for this particular model.
