I got this option from my local club vice president. How does this sound?

Used pt 60 with radio full flight box with basic tool electric panel, starter, hand pump, half gallon fuel, a buddy box, and a covering iron. 225. I probably forgot some stuff I pick it up tomorrow. The plane was only flown 4x with no crashes as it was the vp of my local club who traded it to his friend and the friend went up once with buddy box and didn't like the stress.

I am going to fly this for a while until I decide what to build either a big stik40/60 or a sig four star. I plan on building both but don't know if I want to build a trainer just to build it.

I am going to learn how to cover as my club is going to let me recover the clubs trainer to practice.

From what you describe, it sounds like you got a good deal!

It depends on what motor and servos, if any, come with it. Are you also getting a radio? If you are getting everything, that is a good buy. The guy could probably get more for it if he wanted to sell stuff individually.

PT-60 is a good trainer. It's a sturdy design and fairly easy to repair if it gets dinged up. If everything is in good condition you got a good deal.

I started with a PT 60 and it took many dings b4 my son actually crashed it.  I had it for 8 years.
I bought my son a 60 size glow trainer with all the same stuff you mentioned and it was 300 bucks.  His plane did come with radio and engine and was ready to fly.  225 is a pretty good deal.
