Hi all,
I recently moved to Georgia and have a large pasture behind my back yard that would be perfect for flying RC. I used to fly about 6-8 years ago and held on to all of my models and equipment. I have three planes that are all put together and ready to fly (twist 40, cox Ultimate 40, and a cheap Chinese Cap 232). I pulled out my gear last night and charged all of the batteries up to get ready to fly and everything seems to work except for my elevator control on my tx.
It is an older Futaba FP-7UAFS seven channel radio. All of the other functions work and even the trim tab for the elevator works but the elevator control itself does not do anything. Tried it with all three models with the same results. I pulled out the manual and checked all the settings on the Tx and everything seems to be set up correct (I think). Could it just be that it is an old Tx and the control itself has gone bad? If so, is there anyone who does repairs on these things? I don't want to spend a lot of money on a new Tx. I do have a four channel Tx that I plan to use as soon as I get a new crystal for it.
Any help or suggestions would be great!
Thanks,
Scott

Give Tony a call at Radio South. He'll let you know what your options are, but I'm pretty sure they should be able to get it fixed up for you.
