Flying squash plants!! Another new for RC!!!

What was really odd was the "eye" such as it was, passed over my house. Yet, we hardly had any damage at all in the area. BUT, west of here, well, that's another story. Sad part was those that evacuated from the coast, well, moved into harms way!! They would have been safer if they stayed here on the coast. But, go figure. The forecast was for bad weather along the coast, not inland.

We are inland and it didn't seem to affect us much

The eye of the storm is always the best place to be. The "Whip" side should be avoided. Glad yall are ok.

What I meant to say was that the original path took the eye off shore about 50 miles or so.. we would have been right in the thick of it. We were lucky.
