Default RX batteries

I am setting up a new 40cc gasser, I ran into a small jam. I don't have enough RX channels to hold all my servos, My 2 batteries, and the
ignition kill switch. Can I still use the old Y harness on rudder and elevator channels with the batteries plugged into them, even though I
am using high torque servos? Buying new RX's isn't an option since I have 3 brand new Optima 7's on the shelf.
