Default Battery Issues

I ordered a battery from towerhobbies. It was an 8.4V just like I needed. However, it came with the wrong connecting end on it.

Is there a way for me to find another end/connector somewhere and change it out?

Thanks for any help.

I'm not sure which connector you're going to need (sounds like power pack for an electric flyer?), but your LHS should be able to help... does the end you need look like a servo connector?... If so, you could sacrifice a servo extension lead to get the connector you need..... just make sure when you cut the old connector off, that you cut one wire at a time.... the smoke from burning wire insulation when you short out the battery cutting both leads at once will almost certainly set off the smoke detector!(At least it set off mine!)

If it were me I would return the battery for the correct one. Taking a chance in the air with a rigged up battery wouldn't be worth it to me. That's just my opinion. I'm currently a construction surveryor and I'm also a civil engineering student in the Florida area, I was wondering if you are happy with your job.

if you are confidant in your soldering jobs, you will be fine.
