i would like to bump up the power in my plane should i just use a more powerfull motor or can i change gears in it or is a bigger prop better it has the9x6 prop on it

My Feedback: (1)
With electric, there is more than just changing the prop or motor because everything you do with the power requries a change in something else. For instance, changing the motor will most likely require a change in the ESC and the battery pack capacity or cell count. Changing the prop may require a change in the motor, and, as I said, everything else that goes with that.
And, there is the consideration that the change may not work with that particular airframe.
If you want more performance, you may have to consider changing planes (buying something new - different)

would putting ailerons on it make me more ready for a better fast plane with ailerons with ould smashing it up and i am getting a p51 d mustang in the new year but im keeping the cub so i can put flots on it for at the lake

I wouldn't bother modding the super cub with ailerons. Enjoy it as the beginner plane that it is and start deciding which second plane you want. Depending on which P51 you're talking about, that may be a bigger jump than you're ready for. The typical progression is trainer to 4 channel sport plane to whatever else you want to fly. If it's the Park flyer's you're into, consider a T28 as a second plane.
