Default receiver advice

Hi, im building my first plane and am looking at futaba receivers, some of them say 'duel conversion'., so could sombody tell me the differance please?

They mix the input signal with a local oscilator signal, there are 4 results, the sum, difference, and each original signal that come out.

Its easier to work with lower freqencies so the reciever uses the difference.

Dual conversion recievers do that twice.

Helps reject unwanted signals from interfering but there's other ways to do it as well. The biggest thing is if you buy a dual conversion reciever you have to buy a dual conversion crystal for it.

If you're working with 2.4 systems its not applicable.
