I think i had seen in a post about using alcohol on hot glue to soften or loosen it. Does anyone know if that will work. I need to take something out that was put in by hot glue

so, will the method work on removing hot glue from EPP foam without melting the foam? I've got a couple support bars on a foamy that I want to remove and replace with a better support, but since I hot glue gunned it, haven't been able to remove this support.
Any and all suggestions would be appreciated to learn about removing hot glue.......

I'm not sure it softens that much. Mine was on plywood and I was able to remove it quite easily. Maybe someone else can answer better than I

I had a bunch of nose weight applied at the factory on a foamy.
Holding it under hot tap water I think is a good way to go, to get heat to penetrate the glue while not cooking the foam.
