so basicly take my engine to a instructor and have him test it to see if it runs? is there anyway i can test witout runnin it to tell if everythings workin properley?

yes when u turn the prop does it have a good compression? it should have a springy tension feeling to it followed by a sort of pop noise out the exhaust
if it does then it probably will run!

yes most club members will test run it for you though they might have to take it home with them to mount it on a test bench. if its a 40-46 sized engine i would put a 10-6 prop in it before you go just so it has a propellor and they don't have to dig one up.
