I totally agree the person posting this video needs to think long and hard about his actions. That plane could have knocked over that power line which could have fallen across a major interstate causing a 50+ car pile-up with women and children losing life and limb. Of course the downed power line would have caused a black-out leading to rioting, raping and pillaging of the nearby city which of course would have spread to other cities and eventually the whole nation. Eventually the government would fall and a dictator would rise imposing martial law on every citizen. So, my only question to the original poster is, why do you hate freedom so much?

I think this video proves your friend has otherworldly, though raw, natural piloting skills in order to get through those lines. Perhaps he is the chosen one...

Spit coffee on that one....................

To all the ones crying about how unsafe it was, sure it was unsafe.. But I bet each and everyone of you have done something in your life that was much worse at one time or another... The kid tried to rush it, he wanted to fly a model airplane so bad, that he did what he did.. If I was him and reading some of the comments, it would turn me right off to this hobby.. Why not offer a hand, why not help a nebie?? Oh and by the way, I have seen very skilled pilots do stupid stuff and pose a much greater risk then what this kid did...

Reminds me of last year and the two young guys I ran across standing by their Nextstar remains @ the east end of the main runway at the local airport. Same situation, couldn't wait for an instructor, had to do it.
It never dawned on them that they might be a problem for Full Scale aircraft! Offered to help them do it right but never saw them again....

Yeah, time to shut it down. There has been enough bantying back and forth about how good this was or how bad it was.

Say good night, Gracy.
