Default Tape type requirement

Hello,
I am building a foamy for a retired friend. It is a Thunder Tiger Zero and the first time I have worked with foam.
The instructions say to use of "Mylar Tape" on the ailron's and elevator. However the instructions don't specify any brand name or Mfg. Can anyone tell me what tape to use as when I look up Mylar tape, I get a referance to polyester backing, that it's used in film and as a covering for tape measure's. Will Packing tape work or can someone tell me a brand name?
Thanks

Well, I've used Blenderm which is a strong yet lightweight surgical tape that you can get at a medical equipment store. It is flexible, like thin latex, and, as I said, strong.

Here is one source, using Google Search.

There are lots of others.

Pretty impressive to build with foam.  Did you use lost wax to cast the molds or mill them from stock?   ;-)

Sorry.  Just feeling snarky.

I'd also use the DuBro hinge tape.
