Default Converting Champ to 4 channel

I bought a used Hobbyzone Champ and have been having a blast with it. I think I'd like to try 4 channel, now. The Champ is perfect for me because it is small and slow, this allows me to fly it in my yard, which is a huge advantage. I don't really have a larger place to fly, so I'd really like to stay small and slow. Has anyone converted one of these to 4 channels? Did it work well? What would one need? I'm sure I'd be talking about all new electronics at the minimum. Worth it?

Sorry that my questions are so elementary, I'm just getting started.

Not worth it. Get a micro T-28 from Parkzone.

Hi 70x7, I've not flown the CHamp, but adding ailerons might be too much weight addition to make it a nice flying model. There are extensive threads on this over at R C Groups about modifying this design, though. You might look over there for some answers or for that matter encouragement.

Awesome, the Park Zone ultra micro stuff looks like a way better route than trying to convert. Thanks!
