Default Darn those hungry Corn fields!

Ate the canopy off my Eflite T-34! Even with a canopy latch it managed to pop off after a snap roll. I'm hoping I can find it along with the wheel pant off my 4*120. It took a good minute to tumble down too.

Here is the funny thing, the plane flies better without the canopy.

You don't have the market cornered on the corn field.  We have 12' corn on three sides.   This farmer plants about very three inches.  You can't even walk through it.  We have to use walkie talkies to help direct the person in the corn.  It also shortens up the field alot.  Like landing on a aircraft carrier.

The drought has stunted the corn by us, and the weather that rolled through flattened some of it, so finding something is even more difficult now since the rows are no longer open. I'll wait until the corn has died off and turned brown, or if the weather cools down so it isnt such a sweat box out there. I have a general idea where both pieces are located, but its hard to keep an eye on where something lands when you are also trying to keep the thing that is still flying from also going down. <div>
