It should be a good engine match. Good power, cheap on fuel and easier to clean up. Anxious to hear reports.

I know this is an old thread, but I need the balance point for the US 120 lite. I know the 60 is 4 1/8" back from the leading edge, but not sure what the 120 should be. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The manual for the 120 Lite says 4 1/8" back from the leading edge. Does the main spar fall about 4 1/8" back? If so, its the correct CG location.

Hello Gent's,

I don't remember the exact number, but every one I built was balanced right where the manual said to put it. You can always shift things around some after you fly it to better suite your style. Even today, if Hangar 9 decided to sell them again I buy one ( or more) in a heartbeat.

Take care,
David

Default lite 120 plans

Any suggestions on a availability of a Plan?

I have a copy of laser cut plans if you're still looking. Would be ready to import into a laser cutter. Let me know.

Would you be willing to share them? I have a set of wings and would like to scratch build a new fuse and tail feathers for it.

I have an original US 120 wing with 66" wingspan, but no fuse. Does anyone have a set of plans I can build a fuse from?
