Well guys
*drumroll please*
I soloed today.... yes folks I did and ewwww was it fun.
After many misfortunes with engines quitting and falling off and nervousness and sheer fright! Not to mention the weather's been crap for a week here in the rockies... I managed w/ help of an A-1 instructor to get the plane down on the ground 3x's.
Was using a G.P. .60 Trainer w/ symetrical airfoil and Kraft .61 and 8UAFS that we had buddy boxed to his. It was so funny cause i just kept doing pass after pass and getting the hang of it... and one time i said i'm going for it and i landed. It was like a dream... so cool. Next time i thought he had taken over and landed it for me... but he said "no way... all you" i was stoked. Third time was piece of cake. And it's funny i'm soooo much more relaxed now. Not all jittery. Hint for new flyers... BREATH while you fly.
I only had one minor scrape... was going abit fast on landing and as it was rolling down runway... i tipped it trying to turn around... lol. Oh well. Now the prop is a 11 3/4" X 6" hehe
Anyway... thanks to every one of you here who has inspired, motivated, and instructed!
