Let me be the first to congratulate you on the fiftieth. My parents made it to the 53rd, I only made it to the twentyfifth but lost her to cancer.
You also are very fortunate to have a wife that enjoys flying and participates with you, that is special. Mine never got into the models but did in our full scale activities and obtained the private which was a great source of pride for her.

I like the Pilot RC 50 CC Yak 54. After flying the Aeroworks 50CC Pitts Python for a couple of years the Yak lands itself.
If you wanna go bigger the Hangar 9 35% Extra 300 flies very very nice. Congrats on 50...I am at 37

First of all, congratulations! Second, if she is in to R.C. and you have been together that long, get her what ever she wants, no matter what the price!

She is very active in our club. She is not a flyer but a buyer. She said to me, today, do you need anything from the hobby shop. Told her no, why, she said she wanted to go get a new dress and it was in the same town as the hobby store. She does most of the covering on the planes for me.

Big time congratulations. My parents just made 47 so they are close, and my wife and I made it to 11 this year. This Christmas she got me a Kobalt tool kit I had no use for (why she still tries to get creative and buy things she knows nothing about I'll never understand), and when she realized it she got upset enough to want to build an airplane with me. We've been recovering my Cub instead and she's done a little bit, but that she is taking any interest at all is pretty amazing. So here's hoping we'll be like you two at 50, still enjoying time together taking an interest in each others activities.

My parents made it to their 72nd anniversary.
They passed away one month from each other....
both age 92.
mom on the 5th of January at 7:00 am and
dad on the 5th of February at 7:00 pm.
ironic. Both wonderful people.
Sorry I had to add this.....you made me think of them.
....I miss them
