Hi guys! I have never covered with fabric and want to use sigs koverall! I have the airframe sanded and ready for covering. What would be the steps to using koverall? Thanks for the input! stash

Koverall comes with instructions for two ways of applying it: with nitrate dope or with Stix-it.

I use Koverall alot & found the way i like best is to apply Stix it before ironing on the Koverall. However, if you are going to finish the model with water based paints or polycrylic the wood needs to be sealed before applying the Stix it. I use Deft sanding sealer, found at local hardware store.

I'm a stix it guy also. Koverall is great, it shrinks like nobodies business and stays that way.

Love Koverall! It's not only everything everyone has posted so far - it's like adding a coat of armor to your plane. Awful hard to put a hole into.

I dope Koverall on.

Sand airframe.
Dope airframe where Koverall will be touching.
Sand doped areas.
Apply Koverall by doping through it which activates the dope already on the airframe.
