Default Amazon another option for RC

Earlier this year I subscribed to Amazon Prime for 79.00. It includes free shipping and free movies. We canceled part of our cable and bought a Roku box to download movies from Amazon. We are saving a lot of money with free movies and free shipping.
I did a search for rc merchandise. They have some parts, radios , planes , helicopters, servos and building supplies. With my prime memebership , I get free 2 day shipping . Their prices are not bad on some items with free shipping. Just another option to consider .

I buy a lot of hard to find items from amazon. A lot of the battery packs I have are made from batteries I got from them. I was having problems locating a header for an OS four stroke engine I have and located it on amazon for a much better price then anyplace else. On top of that I buy books, a lot of books from them and have a bunch of points/money in my account and the header was a free shipping deal, I don't belong to Prime but they have a lot of shipping deals. With my points the header was almost free. Amazon is just one of the places I shop but they do have a lot of RC deals there.

Amazon is great, but don't forget your LHS. When we get stuck or get in trouble, that's where go for help. They have to be profitable to stay open.
I bought batteries on line once and went to the track to race my truck. I needed some deans connectors and the guy told me to just bring him the batteries so that he could solder them for me. I told him that i bought the batteries elsewhere but he insisted. Super nice guy as most are.
I felt horribly guilty and will never do that again.
If there is a reason, i will buy on line, but not just to save a buck.
Just my thoughts
