Default flysky fs-t6

I'm just venting. I have not been able to get my fs-t6 ch3 to work on my Parkzone Se 5a. I have spent hours and hours trying different combinations of setting on the fs-t6 with no change. I even replaced the ESC with a Turnigy with the same results. I have also spent as many hours reading as much as possible on the internet regarding this issue. I know that one of the screens on the tx is called display and all the graph bars move accordingly except the ch3 bar. Nothing. In the endpoint screen I can change all of the paramaters of ch1, ch2, ch4 but the ch3 is by-passed when I try to select it. I even changed to different modes and ch3 still does not work. Oh yeah, just one more issue. After the tx is turned on, the display screen fades to very dim after 5-6 seconds.(new batteries? Yes I changed them several times) Add up these problems and........ Ergo....faulty tx. And this was a new tx and rx out of the box! I'm not even going to waste my time and try and return this tx. Lesson learned. OK, now I'm heading down to The Lost Coast Brewery and polish off a couple of pints. Hey, I'm almost 70 years old, I don't need this kind of frustration. Now I'm just waiting for my new Tactic TTX650 with 2 rx's and get this plane in the air before I grow too old and take a dirt nap. Oh yeah. If my wife finds out how much money I have spent over the years with this hobby she may hasten my demise.

First welcome to the forum Bignuggets and on making a wise choice in going to the Tactic system. A story such as yours is very, very common and while the very cheap systems that often are poorly or even unsupported may function ok, it often does require untold hours in learning and research. The better supported systems and systems where you can get first hand support are a far better choice for many of us.

I am a hitec user but the tactics system is and excellent system that not only can you get some of the best after purchase support but also first hand at your local flying site and right here in this forum . The tactic system also has the abilty to buddy box using a cordless system which is very helpful to the new flyers or returnees.

Thanks. As soon as I get my Tactic ttx650 bound and working then I can cut back on my drinking and hopefully stave off an early dirt nap.

Bound my Tactic ttx650. Everything works great. Flysky fs-t6 was faulty out of the box.
