Default gyro

I recently purchased the Eagle A3 Super 3 Axis Gyro + 3D Accelerometer w/ Programming Card. I have an older model Eagle A3 Pro SE 3 Axis Airplane Gyro installed on another plane and it works great. I installed the Eagle A3 Super in my Parkzone se5a according to the instructions and set up the unit with the computer program option. The thing does not work. The control surfaces do not respond. When I completely remove the unit the control surfaces respond. I even updated the firmware with no luck. Am I missing something here? I do not like the idea of throwing $70.00 down a rat hole. I want this fixed before I start drinking heavily again. Thanks, Alan

I have a Park-Zone SE5a and, if you are trying to add accelerometers/gyro to a WWI biplane . . . yes, I am afraid you are missing quite a bit.

Found the problem after a couple of hours. Everything works great now. So there may be a problem using this gyro on my Parkzone? I decided to install a gyro because I live in northern Calif (Eureka) on the coast and there is never a day that the wind doesn't blow at least 7-10 mph (sometime with gusts above 10 mph). Flying my Parkzone se5a was a trial by fire every time it took off. The wind would buffet the plane every witch way from Sunday and landings were white knuckle affairs. My Eagle A3 pro SE really helped my 800mm Spitfire and now it flies straight with very little wobble. I can land it like it was on rails.

Lol! Gusts to 10 mph in Texas are what we call a calm flying day. Of course, not many of us fly these little draggy park planes either.
