Momma got me a new DX6- a little different than my dx7. How do I clear a model that I put in twice. got so excited that I wasn't paying attention

Pretty sure that if you change that models type (ie plane, glider or heli), that it wipes the previous information on that model slot allowing you to do what ever you want afresh - well at least it did on my Dx6i and DX8.
