Default Biplane wing support cables

I still have a few things to do on my Gipsy Moth and one of them is stringing the wing support cables. I'm using braided wire fishing line crimped at one end and am looking for a removable clip or some other method of attaching the other end. It would make taking the lower wing off a little easier to get at the servos etc. Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks!

Procter models sells very nice turnbuckles that will allow you to adjust the tension and remove them easily for transport.

I use fishing swivels for the EZ to remove connectors at the ends.

Those Turnbuckles are beauties but a little too expensive for this old man! Thanks for responding!

That's more to what I was thinking and able to afford. Not scale like but very functional! Thanks!

doc, Unless your wing support cables are functional and needed for structural strength, consider using elastic thread as your cable material. It's inexpensive, easy to install, easy to hook up at the field (with the fishing swivels of course), and most important of all....it looks marvelous. Of course elastic thread has absolutely no structural value so go with turnbuckles and metal cable if you need functional wires.

GREAT idea! I believe they are there for scale reasons so your idea is useful. They are all on now since I have to take it to my clubs Jan meeting and I wanted it complete. When I have to cut them off I'll replace them as you suggest. Thanks and Happy New Year!
