Default Need electronics advice

I have 2 Easystars of unknown lineage (1 is for parts only). Have just about worn out the motor and fear the electronics will die soon. I'm looking for a reasonable set up to replace the old stuff. This is really a minor hobby so far and want to keep a reasonable budget. I'm looking for everything from radio to brushless motor, but not interested at this time in flying so fast my old reflexes won't keep up. I've done some research on Orangerx radios and receivers and like the price and reviews. I would appreciate any info on a compatible motor, prop, receiver, esc and battery. I've gone through this site and others and although there is great information, it's created more questions than answers.

Thank you in advance

There are a multitude of sites on Ebay or online that will sell a motor/ESC combo that will handle this plane for under $25.00. Add a 3S battery of your choice for another $15.00 or so and you will be ready to go. If you feel your radio equipment is also suspect, you must first decide just which components you need of if you need an entire transmitter/receiver/servo setup.

I think I'm just going to replace everything. I like this plane, but not knowing what condition the equipment is in, I'll enjoy myself more with new electronics. Thank you for your response.

Old saying in aviation, if it ain't broke don't fix it. The motor I can see but the receiver and servos if there isn't a problem ..... New stuff can fail too
