Question Sig Hummer Conversion

I am re-entering the hobby after years of inactivity except for flying a couple of simple RTF foam models. I am in the final stages of building a 30+ year old balsa .049 kit called the "Q-TEE. (Wonder where all the time came from!) I really enjoyed building the kit and am thinking of purchasing the Sig "Hummer". My question is has anyone had experience in converting it to an electric powered model? if so, or if you have words of wisdom, I would appreciate hearing them.
