I am required to pick parts for an rc plane whose body is 170 grams.
-components to weigh up to 300 grams.
-travel at 12 m/s
-17-23 inch prop with at least 8 in pitch
-Up to 5000 rpm
I am really having trouble finding appropriate motor. Found a 22x8 prop but now I need a motor that is like under 1000 kv with a 2s battery and to weigh aroun 100 grams.
please help me if you can

Its for a job interview but i have dealt with rc planes or brushless motors before

Reading your specifications what you are looking for does not exist. Motors that are large enough to spin a 22” prop are going to weigh very close to 500g and due to an average of 200 to 240 KV will require 8S to 10S. Your flight speed of 27mph is just higher then the landing speed to the average R/C airplane.

Hi everybody... i made a deltawing and if anybody can help me with the CG of it
taken it to the flying field now 2 times without success. i truly believe if i can get it to fly, that it wil be quite a spectacular plane
