Back into the r/c world after 14 years did helis back then now trying out planes.

most of the elite planes come with everything minus transmitter, battery and receiver. At least thats what the box says.

Now do i need a the futaba 460 gyro for airplanes ? I have a plane futaba one that i guess connect to the bus 🚌 section of the reciever. Is it necessary? Im looking to get a timber evolution for my next plane.. my first is apprentice 1.5. I want to get it to introducing me to flaps. Then after that i want the FMS Corsair 1700mm 🥰🥰🥰🥰😍😍😍🤩🤩🤩.

Im trying to understand set up better. I have a futaba 16iz with 8 channel receiver that comes with it with a 460 futaba gyro... wondering if i need that in or not whats it for? Like im thinking its the same or like the same as the spectrum safe thingie...

Do those spectrum eflight plane reciever have a build in gyro for there safe modes is that what it is? Sorry all over the place someone paint a better picture for me fornk you.
