Default Soloed!

My Avistar flew like a dream (and lands like a super-ball - hah! will need to work on that!) on its maiden voyage. I highly recommend it as a first plane.

My instructor was great (Lee, at Speedworld RC near Phoenix [link]http://www.speedworldrcf.com[/link] thanks man!). Taught me a lot about safety, general procedures, and numerous other facts (very, very knowledgeable). He got my 9CAP programmed for lower sensitivity all-around and trimmed out the plane once in the air the first time. A few times around the pattern and it was time for me to take over. Wow, what a cool experience - there's nothing like the real thing (vs G2).

Things went so well, I was eventually able to solo my first day out (yesterday) - whoo hoo! (thanks to G2, forgiving plane, encouraging instructor).

I'm all pumped up now to get back out again and sharpen my skills.

Cheers all!

My Avistar is a little bouncy too, but it didn't seem as bouncy when the instructor landed it
