I certainly don't want a bunch of unnecessary regulations in my life and to that point I agree with you. There is always a big uproar over the freedom of speech section of the first 10 amendments. I believe it was Justice Douglas, U.S. Supreme Court, who cleared it up nicely when he ruled that freedom of speech does not give you the right to cry fire in a crowded theater. Freedom from unnecessary regulation does not give you the right to endanger the safety of any citizen. Fire regulations for multiple residence buildings or any multi-occupancy building have been developed over many years by people with much experience in the field. When you have the same experience and knowledge feel free to criticize. Until that time obey the rules just as you do at the flying field. Things are usually what they are for many good resons.

Hey Fly boy.. airplane model fuel is Highly flammable.. my sons had a function at their Boy scout troop and the firewood was a little wet.. guess what came to the rescue? yes .. an old gallon of 5% lit that wood as if in a pyre!!! and the oil help maintaining the wood lit up...
I can store any amount of fuel in my house.. no fire codes exists around here :bananahea
