Hi!
Where I'm flying my airplane the grass is a little to high for the wheels I'm using. My airplane is a J-3 Grasshopper (CCLee) and the wheels are the ones that comes with the box.
So, is there any problems in changing to a pair of larger wheels so that I acan do proper landings and takeoffs?

Vide,
I had the same problem with my Alpha trainer. I put a set of 3 1/2 inch Dave Brown lightweight foam wheels on it. That made a huge difference. Taxiing, take-offs and landings are a breeze now. Hope this helps.

Vide, I almost always put larger wheels on my planes because my field is rough. Just make sure you re-balance the plane.....you might have to re-trim the plane slightly, but probably not.....the only time I've had to really re-trim is when I took a set of wheel pants off of a plane.
