hi there do any of you good peeps know of anywhere which they show you how to make your own smoke system for your plane ?

There's a book called R/C Aerobatics for Everyone (sorry, can't remember the author), that goes into detail for smoke systems for all types of engines, 2-strokers, 4-strokers, and gassers.

There is a LOT you need to know about smoke systems first, otherwise, you could find yourself spending a lot of money on something that doesn't work.
I am using a great smoker that only cost about $12 US (that's 37 Kilograms to you Brits), but you need to know what type of engine to use, what type of pump, where to put an oil flow restrictor and check-valve, etc.
Do a search here on RCU for "Smoke" and you'll learn lots of good info.
BTW, here's a pic of my Skybolt with smoke.
