I was just wondering what a short kit is. I have heard some talk about this but I still don't know what it is, can some one help? Thanks Super.

A short kit is where the Mfg supplies all the necsasary parts like the canopy, cowling etc, things that you would have to make and you supply the wood needed to build the plane. Oh and also cut out all the parts. It's really a great way to go if you want to basically scratch build something but don't want to make all those parts needed to finish the plane.

Many short kits also come with fuselage formers and a few of the more complicated wood parts.
