Hi All, I bought a 90% completed Sig Wonder at a swap shop in June, I notice the fuse is about 3" longer than the plans! The builder did a very nice job, excellent covering etc. I'm going to use a TT 25 and plan to get an FMA mini Rx, will use a std. servo for the ailerons and elevator and a mini for throttle. The instruction book says nothing about an optional longer fuse! Any ideas? Thank you. New member, Bill O'Neill from Allentown, Pa.

See the thread at http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_38...tm.htm#384438/
The longer fuselage made it a smoother flying plane and it was plenty exciting with a .15 engine. Added a servo for rudder control. The lower weight of the .15 engine (vs. a .25) resulted in smooth glides to landing. Have fun with it.

Just curious, when the guy built the longer Wonder, did he use plans, or an addition to the plans to get the longer length? Plans and instr. say nothing about a longer fuse! Bill

I put some tracing paper over the plans and drew the longer length of the fuselage. This is an example of the noble activity known as kit bashing. Our motto: "We don't need no steenking plans!"
It flew great with an OS.15LA and as 3Dfanatic says, it was a rocket when I installed an OS CVA.15. Most exciting moment was when a local hawk dove on the plane and tried to catch it as I flew down the runway.
