Another good one was to get the "newbie" to wave a crash axe in the air back and forth in the air beneath the tail(which houses the MAD=Magnetic Anomaly Detector)... telling him it was needed as a pre-flight check of the MAD.

how about the padeye wrench. And lets not forget to check tire pressure on the TAU3 fire truck
