Default Made my jump to REAL flying!

OK guys I am soooo pumped! I FINALLY got my radio (9C) and plane U CAN DO w/.91FS tuned up today,, and flew it! I have been flying for 6 weeks TOTAL and this plane is really SWEET! It was a massive jump from my Kadet Senior (rudder only) but wow was it fun. I was a little freaked out at 1st because it is quicker and more maneuverable than my Kadet (ya think?).

I had some friends at the club help me progam the radio and set the control surface movement. I strictly ran low rates, 5.25"CG. 1st flight I only flew around a little, no takeoff or landing. 2nd flight I flew completely solo and after a slightly squirrely takeoff ( new to left stick rudder) I was on my way. I was able to do some simple aerobatics, loop, immelman, split S, flew inverted and it rolls pretty easily. Only about 12 degrees in the aileron deflection so the rolls were nice and slow. Not bragging on me its the plane. Plus I was able to land it as gently as my Kadet no problem whatsoever on the 1st try. Anyone who wonders if this plane would make a good second plane I would have to say definitely so. Its a very gentle flyer if you want it to be. My buddy that test flew it for me and talked me through my 1st solo had a blast with it. This is the coolest plane. I cant wait till I can lean it out and test out the vertical capabilites..

This is so much fun!

I taught somebody how to fly this summer with a UCD60 and would recommend it to anyone as a first airplane in the glo/4 channel category if you have a reasonbly qualified instructor. This is a GENTLE plane on low rates and lands slower than most trainers.
