Is anyone familiar with these plugs? They're the long version with the idle bar.
Problem: When I put my heater on them, the coil doesn't get hot. I've tried four different ones at different settings on my power panel from low-med-high.
Even put a drop of WD40 on the coil just to see if it'd smoke. NO.
Talk to me.

I use the fox long plugs with idle bar and have never had a problem with one. They always glow fine for me though my panel does need to be on the highish end.

You may have one of the 2volt plugs. Do you still have the package it came in? Go to www.foxmanufacturing.com and check the p/n with what they have listed there. If it matches a standard rc plug you may have gotten a bad one. That happens, Rare but it happens. [&:]

Thanks for the responses. I'll have to check the site out tomorrow and see whats going on.
A while back, I did a little horse tradin' and got a whole slough of stuff. In it was almost two dozen of these NIP plugs that I've never ran. Always thought FOX was supposed to have a good plug. Maybe mine are duds therefore the trade.
Will keep you guys posted.

have had very good luck with Fox plugs. I always have an assortment of them in my flight box. If they are bad contact Fox. They may be able or willing to replace them. The standard long with idle bars work very well for me in all of my engines. I use the miracle plugs in my Saito 4 strokers. Tey work as well as the factory plugs. I hope you get this soerted out. Let us know how you make out.
