Maiden flight went great! .. i flew a few flights...time ran short on us today..hopefully the next semi warm clear day we can do it again... instructor said i did real good... he says the avistar flew great also..

You`re right! It doesn`t come naturally but like just about everything else, it omes easier to some more so than others. The key, at least for me, was persistence. Once you can understand and accept, at least somewhat, that this is a hobby in which you break things, it becomes at least a little less frustrating. My instructor told me, " Every plane has a number. When that number comes up, that plane will go away. " By the way, I think you`re right about the turns. Do youself a favor and learn to make right hand landing approaches. You`ll find it`s like everything else in this hobby, " Practice, Practice, Practice ". Good luck!!
