I'm new to this forum and the hobby.
To get started, I did some reading and decided an ARF would be best for me. I bought a Tower Trainer 40 ARF, which the previous owner had not started. It was a complete kit, including hardware, a NIB OS .40, props, Tower 3000 with servos, receiver, fuel pump, batteries, starter, etc. The shipping papers were even in the box from 2000.
However, I found it did not have any instructions for assembly.
I tried Tower for instructions, but they're out of stock.
The Tower looks very much like the Hobbico Superstar, and I'm wondering if they are the same plane with different names, from the same manufacturer (Great Planes?).
If anyone has suggestions on how to get an instruction manual, I'd certainly appreciate the information.
Thanks!

The planes are in most part similar but there are couple of differences. If you do find the manual, the manual has an error for the front wheel pushrod location.
I had the tower trainer arf 40 MKII, I have the manual, I will be out of US for the next month, leaving tomorrow, if you can't find it by January 15th send me an email I can make a copy and mail it to you.

Thanks very much, everyone, for the references and the tips. I have downloaded the PDFs, and will print them out.
With the holidays coming up, I don't think I'll be able to start it until after Christmas.
In the meantime, I will try to read as much as possible here.
I appreciate your help.
Enjoy the holidays!
