ERR and i mean "lazy flying" as in... touch and goes, loops, maybe a roll or 2.. just overall easy flying-not nervous that if you lose it you wont beable to get it back under control....

I had voted for the Tiger 60, but then thought I should ask what was your first plane ? You wouldn't be ready if you started with an AeroBird type. If you've mastered the PT 40 or Avistar style trainers, then one of the 4 Star's or the Tiger 60 would work.

currently in training w. an avistar w. a .46......i am mainly looking for something i can fly in my personal field (we have 87ish acres of land w/ 30-35 of it being an open pasture) where i can hand the controls to someone and let them get the joy of flying and then be able to easly recover it....

CLANCY AVIATION sells a series of planes like the LAZY BEE, YARD BEE, and some other BEES that I can't recall. I liked their 36" LAZY BEE with an OS 15. It was lazy fun, rudder and elevator and throttle, but capable of flat spins and slow motion tumbles! I flew it for years and eventually fuel soaked it. The electric version was a pig then[OINK]but now a days that has all changed and it would be killer on electron power!

Do a search for the Lazy Tiger, I just got one for the same reason you are looking for one.[sm=sunsmiley.gif]

glowflyers,
The Kadet Senior is in a different category than all the others. The others are good "second" planes, in the sense that they're more aerobatic than your trainer, but are going to be faster and a little more difficult to land.

The Kadet is a floater. While it can do basic aerobatics, it does them slowly. It will slow down to a crawl for landings. Very docile plane that was used as a trainer for many years.

ChrisHays,
Not polite to Hijack someone's thread. You need to start one of yur own.

I think you left out the best one.

Look at the Goldberg Clipped Wing Anniversary Cub.

Another dandy is one that I just reviewed. It's called the Dragon 40 ARF

Both are real floaters, but will do every trick in the book (Outside of 3-D)

I used to have a Blue Max from Global. It had 4in wheels and flew like an aerobatic trainer. Flew it in my backyard(15ac field but took off in the yard. Don't need real smooth grass with the big wheels.

Hmm, hijacking threads sounds fun!!!

You yank the guy whose "driving" that thread out of the thread and you get in!!! Just kidding.

Clipped Wing Cub ARF? I gotta get that! (I hope!) I have only seen Unclipped wing Cubs. Whoever made those unclipped wing cubs need a lot of nail clippers. I think I'll stop hijacking this thread. :-) :-D
