Default First time builder.. with help.

Hello All.

Let me introduce myself..

I am 14 years old and I am interested in gas powered aircraft.

I currently have an Goldberg Falcon 56 with an OS .40LA Engine, I have never flown it yet.. still waiting for snow to go away. I traded some computer parts with a relative for an Great Planes extra 300 .40 kit. I am about 50% done on it, and should have it finished and covered by next week, still waiting for stuff to come in from towerhobbies.

I will post pictures when I get done, I know it may seem kind of silly building an extra this early into the hobby, but I just needed somthing that looked good to look at!

Thank you, I look forward to posting here!

PS - How does everyone like the OS .50 SX Engine, I am looking into it for the extra.

Welcome to RCU gp! The OS 50 would be a great engine in that plane. Good luck with the construction, and don't fly it till you're ready!

If your waiting for the snow to go away ya better order a couple more kits.
I'm glad to hear that your building. I'm surely not knockin ARFs, but building is becoming a thing of the past.

Oh yeah, can I give you an ATI Xpert 128 for your finished GP Extra?

No?

How about a VIA Cyrix III 366 mhz cpu?

That is exactly what I traded for the kit.

It's not that hard to build, as I probably didn't state, I am having a uncle help me put it together, we got the wings nearly finished, then his beeper went off :-(

@aimmaintenance

Don't think I can afford another kit, my budget is used computer junk.

@MinnFlyer

thanks for the input on the engine, that will be saved for next I guess.

Will never fly it, too scared now.
