From: gone,
Default ripmax, rc simulator, any good?

I have the RipMax sim. Its not bad... but not near as good as the G2.

Last time I checked... there was just a beta driver for the RipMax TX interface for Win XP... The beta driver only gives 3 ch operation of the aircraft even when you've got a 6 ch radio. (rudder is disabled)
*************

I just visited the RipMax site again (www.ripmax.com) and they have new downloads for making the sim work in Win XP. You need to look around a bit... but when you've got ALL 3 files, then the sim should work CORRECTLY in Win XP

Since i hadn't been able to properly use the sim before (no rudder, no retracts, no flaps... and all those are supposed to work on some models.) It was really hard to say how good it is. NOW I can properly test it.

(THey do have an interresting and CHALLENGING set of flight lessons... not seen in other sims.)
