Hi everyone
I currently have a Superstar which I fly on Sundays at a local club. However I live on an old farm and was wondering if they are any glow powered park flyers out there and what would be a good one.
Thanks
Bage

if you want to convert one...try the tutor from greatplanes...put a AP wasp .061 on it with a 2OZ. fuel tank and micro gear...flys like a large trainer, but half the size...

You could try a Ripmax Zephyr http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXAHR0&P=7
You can build it either glow or electric, the glow version is lighter and flies very slow. The specs say 15-18 but it's overpowered with a 15LA, so you could use a 10..... I used the HS-81 servos in mine...

HA i didnt know you could still get them in a kit!!!!!!!!!
this is a club "standard" where i fly, just about every member has one, we have traditional balsa ones, foam and brown paper ones, SPAD ones (mine) powered by glow, diesel, spark ignition.
we have club Zephyr days where we hold pylon races, egg drops yada yada, the smalest engine i've seen in one is a .12 diesel and the bigest a .46 TS
very good plane to learn on and very easy to fly, built light they will also thermal on a good day, which reminds me theres even a slope on at our club.
