Default Electric Fuel pump

Hi all

Does anyone know if you can buy a pump at Canadian tire or the hardware store that would be suitable for an electric fuel pump to fill the aircraft with. The ones at the hobby shops seem to be abit over priced, IMO.

PS Just ordered the CG Super Tote.. does it come with assemply screws?

Thanks,

Shane

I bought this box from hobbytown USA $35 bucks I took a paint thinner can that the guys in the bodyshop had in the trash and had the painter shoot and clear cote it {ford paint color is important} Nice guys ! anyway I found a 6 volt pump @ swap meet for five bucks I put a 6 volt batt. in the tray and hooked a toggle switch to the side works cool [8D] A friend suggested I put post on the side" 1/4 20 bolts"so I could charge my 12 volt without taking off the panel very cool idea The field box was fun to put togeather Have fun!....................Mike

Bought a windshield washer pump from CTC. How long it lasts remains to be seen.

gitterdun,

How do you reverse the pump flow without being hooked up to your power panel? [:-]

I'm hooked up to a 6 volt batt. I can either switch the wires on the batt. or switch the fuel lines just as easy .....or...dump it all on the floor and all over myself either way it comes out pretty good LOL Mike
