Default Support for GP

I know MinnFlyer ended WB's previous rant/thread on Great Planes (quite amusingly) and I don't want to go down that path. I do, however, want to say how well GP treated me. I discovered, quite a ways into my Cub kit, that they had given me two of one of the lite-ply die cut sheets and none of another. I hadn't properly inventoried my kit when I started. I sent out an e-mail giving them the missing part number and had a response within a few hours. They said they were sending the new piece and I should have it in about a week. I had it in 3 days. I'll continue to support GP!

I have 6 planes. 3 of them are GP kits. I have never had any problems with completeness, wood quality or fit. Every one of the planes flies great. I was surprised to hear anyone bashing them. I will continue to buy their products.

I have a GP Super Sportster ARF, love this plane. I also have a GP 300 Extra .40 sized kit, very cool as well. Never had any problems and would buy from GP again in an instant. Even though I'm supporting the big company and not the little guy.

I also have 3 GP kits that I have built. There were no problems with any of them, and they all fly great. I plan on purchasing my 4th from them in a few months.

GP, like anyone, can make a mistake.

What's too bad is that he had a legitimate complaint, he just chose to be unreceptive to their attempt to make matters better, and then he attacked RCU members who tried to tell him that he was wrong. AND he posted the same bash in several different forums!

Oh well, I'm not about to let a good company, OR good members get bashed by someone who feels the world is out to get him. I'll be watching his posts

Thanks Minn. I didn't comment on the subject but the whining got old!

I second the thanks to Minn. I don't really care one way or the other if he voices his complaints, but after I got to the third forum title, and he had posted the same exact post in all of them, I got tired. If he would have written a different message in all those forums it would have been different, but cutting and pasting means he didn't even work at it.
