That Works? It looks a little too thin, like it would wear out quickly, or not have enough pressure... But I'll give it a try...

What !! Do you have an indoor flying site ? I need to be putting a set of plane ski's on tonite. We're in line for 10" + Saturday nite.
There's an aftermarket co. that sells inserts with a smaller tapered cone. The flat back reversed cup will last you a couple of seasons.

The picture shows the back, the other side is similar to the pink one but with a smaller hole. It seems to work fine for the rounded Harry Higley prop nuts. I've just discovered one problem though, I can't get the bu%%er off the starter cone... maybe the pink one is more flexible....

Put the skis on... its fun to fly off snow. I used to do it.
(may want to use a small cheapie tobaggan as a take-off dolly with 10 inches fresh powder... Darn plane may sink in the snow before take-off otherwise.
