Default My first solo!!

I did it I did it ! Three times ,take offs a little shaky but my landings were perfect threepoint landings I may go back today ! My son was the only one out there with me and Im glad he got to experiance that with me we were high fiveing and hootin and hollerin! Gitterdun

That memory will stay with you forever. Part of the rush of this hobby is that you'll have that same nervous high every time you take out a new plane for it's first flight.

Congradulations, do you fly at a club? If so, I wish I had know when I lived in Oaklandon. It would beat driving to Muncie.

Well we went back just now and we flew 4 more successful flights ! Im hooked one older Gentleman showed up that belongs to this club and he said he could'nt believe this was my first day to solo that made me feel pretty darn good I felt good enough to have my wife and daughter come out and watch me I had a couple of touch and go's and a couple loops man what a thrill to finally fly I have been waiting two months Geistware I live In Middletown not far from Muncie at all These guys have a nice airfield right in the middle of a giant beanfield I have only met a handfull of these guys but there a great bunch of guys ! Thanks for all the nice coments (Now where's that tip stalling Cap 21 of mine We need to get that dude ready,LOL) Gitterdun!

Geez, I can't believe this has been up for two days and I hadn't seen it yet!

Congratulations! (I don't get to give very many of these out in the winter! LOL)

A rule of thumb that I`ve found to be useful as I`ve progressed beyond my own solo ( about 4 months ago 0, ALTITUDE IS YOUR FRIEND!!

I'll second what Bamafly said. Had an experience of this myself. Congrats on the solo Gitterdun. May you have many more sucessful flights and your landing always equal your takeoffs.
